The Blog of a Wondering Dragon

One of the reasons why I decided to start a blog was as a way to help me work on my writing. I have a few short story ideas floating in my head, that I would really like to get out sometime in the future. But I have read enough fan fiction on the web to know that not everyone can write well. So the best way to get good at something, is to keep doing it/practicing. It seems that THIS is what I have failed it.

I get a lot ideas that I "want" to write about. Trouble is, when I have the chance to write about them, I don't. Funny how that seems to happen a lot, and I know I'm not the only one. So rather then make the already cliche blog post about how I'm sorry I haven't been updating and that I promise to write more, I felt it would be better to write about why I wanted to start writing this blog. And also point out that I have at least tried to post something once a month. A good start I think, now I just need to work that up to once a week. And if you should ask, "well why should anyone want to read your blog?". The answer is simple, I'm not writing for anyone other then myself.

After reading this I know that the other reason I haven't been posting is pure laziness and procrastination. I find it rather amusing that I decided to write this rather then finish the php code I was working on. Though in defense of that, I have to say I hit a snag where I needed input from someone before I could continue.
